Looking Back at ERF 2021

Apr 19, 2021

ERF2021 took place as a virtual event 13-15 April 2021. With over 800 registered participants, ERF2021 covered all aspects and current themes related to the field of robotics. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and public funding officers from all over Europe came together to discuss technology push, market pull and how innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI can be accelerated. The European Robotics Forum 2021 was organised by euRobotics, a Brussels-based international non-profit association for all stakeholders in European robotics.

Gateway to EU Robotics Initiatives organised two sessions at the ERF. Success stories session was about experiences of companies that got funded by different Horizon2020 robotics innovation actions and each of them shared their stories, followed by an interesting Q&A session. The second session, FSTP funding and brokerage, focused on different offers provided by the DIH networks on robotics. This session informed the audience about upcoming funding, events, and other services and provided a discussion platform to better understand the offers in the different areas.

We want to thank the event organisers, speakers and everyone who attended. Stay tuned for more information from the ERF, and our community of EU robotics projects!

Our community of EU robotics projects improves collaboration between European robotics DIHs with a mission to strengthen the competitiveness of the European robotics market. We represent 5 innovation actions from 4 application areas: DIH HERO (healthcare), RIMA (infrastructure inspection and maintenance), agROBOfood (agri-food), TRINITY and DIH2 (agile production).
