The connection between humans and robots is fusing more and more. This is clearly seen in modern production environments, where robots are increasingly taking on new roles to assist employees in their tasks, and lifting tasks from the employees, thus moving humans more out of the production environment itself. With the latest developments in robotics, new opportunities are opened for agile production, better working environment and safety, and economic growth for small and medium-sized production companies.

DIH² believes in the power of robotics to transform the agility of manufacturing in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and drive economic growth across the European Union. Their role is to facilitate the connections that will enable agile production in factories where speed and versatility are essential to satisfy customer demand. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 824964.
