Inspection & Maintenance: Call for Robotics Innovation Experiments!
RIMA, a part of RODIN project group, has launched its second Open Call. The aim of the call is to support the development and deployment of robotics’ applications in the field of Inspection and Maintenance with the Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE) grants. The submission of applications started on the 15th of December, 2020.
Robotics Innovation Experiment (RIE) consist of developing, testing, and validating the technical and economic viability of a robotics-based representative model or prototype system to be applied in ‘Target-Use Domain’ operational environment. RIE applicants may receive up to €150.000 per consortium (for the duration of 14 months).
The deadline for applying is the 17th of March 2021 (16:00 CET).
About RIMA
The goal of the RIMA project is to connect research, technology & service providers, industry sectors, investors, and certification bodies under one roof. The project aims to fund 50 technology experiments among the European small & medium-sized companies (SMEs). It will be done through two Open Calls (one in 2019, one in 2020) with a total amount of €8.1M.
RIMA is committed to supporting SMEs in commercializing their solutions. It also provides education and training on robotics for small and medium-sized companies.
